Malam Spicey: You know in hausa (language) MALAM means teacher while the SPICEY is for the style n flavour I put in di musik. So I educate n I still spice up the people you know what I mean?

Malam Spicey: Capleton, Fela 'Anikulapo' Kuti, Sizzla Kalonji, 50cent.

Spices of Africa: How did you venture into music?

A. Back them days in my hood my big bro use to be a dancehall Artist, so i grew up having so much desire of doing music, I was so lucky musik was jus all around me, it all started 1997. Professionally 2004 wit former plantashun boys member Blackfacenaija

Malam Spicey: Yea I was on his first album. We ah friends buh he diss mi first in his musik. So I replied shekena.

Malam Spicey: 1st of all GOD then them gurls dey inspire me a lot.

Malam Spicey: Nu album drops next year in ah grandstyle.

Malam Spicey:If not musik I would been ah footballer or a navy officer. Ah gat big passion for soccer.

Malam Spicey: Positively, cos the people love the musik so it makes you wanna do more.

Malam Spicey: I was slapped by a gurl in my secondary school everybody was jus laughing.

Malam Spicey: I wanna take african dancehall musik to another level. Do songs wif nuff international artist. Setup mi children foundation. Setup mi label DANCEHALLFRANCHIZE INC.
