Leicester's Crista Cullen inspired a superb
second-half fightback as Great Britain's women drew 2-2 with Olympic
champions Holland in the Champions Trophy in Rosario.
Britain trailed 2-0 at half-time to the world's top-ranked team,
Naomi van As scoring in the seventh minute before Kim Lammers doubled
the lead with three minutes remaining until the interval. But Cullen scored twice from penalty corners in the second period, her 61st minute equaliser a spectacular strike which was deflected onto the crossbar before bouncing down into the net.
Britain also missed two penalty strokes, captain Kate Walsh firing wide in the first half when her team trailed 1-0 and Cullen denied by goalkeeper Joyce Sombroek at 2-1 in the second.
The result leaves both sides level on four points, with Britain top on goal difference after Cullen set them on their way to a 3-0 win over Japan in their opening game while the Dutch beat China 3-1.
Despite the second-half comeback, head coach Danny Kerry said: "We're disappointed with our first-half performance, the girls need to believe in
themselves more.
"At half-time we spoke about belief and for them to decide if they are good enough."
Kerry also expressed his concerns over the heat in Rosario, ahead of his side's final group game against China on Tuesday.
"I'm disgusted that we're being asked to play in such high temperatures," he said. "It's dangerous and wrong."
